Snohomish Lacrosse Club prides itself in the ability to provide the youth of our community an environment in which to learn and develop athletic skills, as well as life skills to apply in the competitive arena, while maintaining an attitude of good sportsmanship and fun. The primary focus of Snohomish Lacrosse Club has always been and will continue to be the YOUTH of our community.

The next Snohomish Lacrosse Board meeting is Tuesday, Nov 17, 6;30 at the Maple Avenue Campus (formerly Freshman campus) in Rm 132.

Registering for 2010 -It's Time!

It is here! Time to register for the 2010 Lacrosse Season! To get started, click the Register button on the left. It will guide you through all of the steps you need to do.  Starting this year, Snolax requires all players to be members of US Lacrosse. Your membership number and expiration date will be required during registration. Get your membership at US Lacrosse

Registration will run from October 6 through December 1.

• Early registration (saves $20 per player): October 6, 2009 - November 15, 2009
• Regular registration: November 16, 2009 - December 1, 2009  

Notes:

• Registration for each team will run through December 1 or until teams fill up, whichever occurs first.

This year Snolax is doing a club-wide fundraising event. We wanted to keep registration fees low and this necessitated budget cuts as well as relying on the strength of our lacrosse team to raise $5,000 through the very popular product sale for Butterbraids and Pastry Puffins.

Important fundraiser dates:

October 15, 7:30pm: Valley view Middle School Commons. Kick-off with tasting, forms pick-up. If you can't make it, download the forms here. Butterbraid order form  Pastry Puffin order form

October 16-Nov 1: Sell Butterbraids and Pastry Puffins. Be sure to contact people who have previously purchased; they will be addicted and need more! 

November 2, 6-7:30pm: Order form turn in date. Take your form to the Starbucks at either the Clearview Shopping area or the Starbucks on Avenue D in Snohomish and turn it into a Snolax representative.

November 18, 7-8:30pm: Pick up your orders at Glacier Peak High School

The Snolax High School girls are selling tie-dye shirts as a fund raiser and to promote looking awesome in their lacrosse apparel. The shirts come in both long sleeve and short sleeve versions. There are two color choices: red and black. Check out the pictures to see which you like.

These can be ordered one of two ways; both must be completed before Nov 1:

1. Registration: Complete your registration before November 1 and the shirt can be ordered as part of the registration process.

2. Download the form: Don't want to register just yet? Download the Tie-dye Shirt Order Form, make your selection and send the form and a check to Sandy Weyrauch.

Here's a great opportunity to learn about lacrosse and get a free lacrosse stick (retail value $20). Geared for boys in elementary and middle school, this clinic will be run the Snohomish HS lacrosse players. If you're new to the game of lacrosse, here's a chance to learn fundamentals before investing in all the gear. Returning players, this is a great time to get the rust off your stick, develop fundamentals and get a back up stick free. Click on Register to sign up.
